My son loves those wasabe green peas snacks. So I often buy them for him. However, for some reason, those in this pack is far too spicy. So I made them into Chinese New Year cookies. I added some wasabe to the cookies to make them more ‘potent’. They are nice and fragrant. One of my favourites.

Wasabe Green Peas Cookies

Wasabe Green Peas Cookies

200g green pea flour (or grind and sieve snack green peas)

150g plain flour

150g cooking oil

130g icing sugar

50g corn starch

1 teaspoon wasabe powder

  1. Mix everything in a blender until it comes to a dough.
  2. Shape each cookie from 1/2 teaspoon of dough.
  3. Put the tray into an oven at 180C, for 12 minutes.
I don’t know what is a good shape for this, I just wanted them functional. So instead of spheres, I made the sides straight. This way, it saves space.12650846_10208633546706234_6393154307687680694_n 12662655_10208633547066243_3729682741339532769_n 12592284_10208633548226272_8217786468582243558_n
